Celebrating the 750th Anniversary of the death of Thomas Aquinas.

St Thomas Aquinas continues to teach and inspire 750 years after his death. His influence was drawn from a life committed to scholarship, and his letters and treatises and contain much practical wisdom about study. His advice about methods of study and the virtues of a good student is of perennial value to scholars. St Thomas was also a member of the Order of Preachers. His sermons, though different in style to those of today, are exemplars of doctrinal preaching, and they can continue to be mined for guidance in living the Christian life.

Fr James Baxter is a Dominican priest. He was ordained in 2016, and served three years as chaplain to the University of Notre Dame Australia.
